What Would The Irs Be Sending In January By Certified Mail I Have A W2 & W2C. How Do You File Both In TT? How Can I Confirm If Both Have Been Filed By Employer At IRS?

I have a W2 & W2C. How do you file both in TT? How can I confirm if both have been filed by employer at IRS? - what would the irs be sending in january by certified mail

My employer issued a W2 in January, then send me a W2C March. I Can and I give both with and create a file by e-Turbo Tax when filing before the deadline in mid-April? How can I be sure that both figures were reported as well by my employer for the IRS to ensure that my intervention is not sold or trigger an audit. W2C My income is much lower than that shown on the W2.

Is a W-2C is a corrected W-2 form.

You should report what is in the W-2C, and thus not something about the W-2 you receive in January.

You should read the Form W-2C. This suggests a way to rectify and cancel the first. While the two reported to the IRS, only the W-2C questions.
